I love the way it looks, functions, handles, and shoots!
Nice, solid lockup with no "twang" when you snap it shut.
One really nice rifle I think you, too, will really like. | | That's me, Mike Bellm, with a group shot from a new CVA 7mm-08 Apex rifle with Winchester 140 gr. Ballistic Silvertip factory loads at the CVA company range in Georgia June 2, '09 |

| The Apex earns Field and Stream's Best of the Best Award! See what Field and Stream magazine's test team had to say about the Apex! And this was based just on the muzzle loader! It is even better yet as a centerfire! |

| Believe me, studying the company and their Bergara Encore barrels for the last two years......
CVA today is definitely NOT the same as your Dad's or Grand Dad's CVA company!
The very progressive BPI, Inc.company that owns CVA and Bergara Barrels is now producing not only state of the art muzzle loaders, but state of the art centerfire rifles and rifle barrels.
Those who know me and my 30 year background in barrel work know just how critical I am and what it takes to get my attention.
CVA, the BPI parent company, and Bergara Barrels flat out got it!
Using barrels made in the ultra modern Bergara barrel factory in Bergara, Spain, CVA muzzle loader and centerfire rifles deliver top performance at cost conscious prices.

| | "It's the People"! BPI company president, Dudley McGarity, here with the new Apex in muzzle loader configuration with his African gemsbuck, July '09. |
| Deliveries of the new Apex rifle will begin approximately July, '09, so ask your dealer to get an order in to his favorite CVA distributor now!
We will be providing technical support for the Apex and custom work on Apex barrels to include among other things cutting to shorter lengths and recrowning, muzzle brakes, and rechambering.
Barrels for the Apex will be added here on this page. |
| Meanwhile, click here for full company information and barrel listings. Take some time on the CVA site checking out their other impressive product lines as well, particularly the Bergara barrels, the Bergara video, Durasight scope mounts, and Power Belt muzzle loader bullets if you have an interest in muzzle loaders.
If you have not taken an interest in muzzle loaders, their electronic ignition Electra muzzle loader is the next best thing to a cartridge gun and may be just what you need in those states with peculiar centerfire ammunition restrictions but more liberal muzzle loader regulations.
"Today's CVA" has a LOT to offer!
